Stephen Bennett celebrates the beauty and diversity of indigenous peoples through his portrait paintings. He is based in New York City but travels frequently to exotic destinations the world over. On assignment he works with indigenous peoples and his work helps to preserve their culture. He plans to produce 1000 indigenous peoples' portraits that will eventually be exhibited together at the same time!

Stephen is also the founder of Faces of the World, a US non-profit organization dedicated to preserving indigenous culture and empowering indigenous peoples. Faces of the World conducts art workshops for indigenous children promoting pride in their cultural heritage.
