Just like indigenous languages, indigenous arts are fast disappearing. Yet there are many practitioners who still perform traditional indigenous arts or seek to revive them where they are on the decline. Others focus their art on indigenous peoples and cultures as their subject matter. Many such individuals and groups strive to bring their art to a wider audience. In recognition of this our Indigenous Peoples' Art Exposé program provides a forum for exposure and coverage of these artists and artisans. If you know of a group or individual working to promote indigenous art we would like you to contact us with your proposal to feature their work as part of this program.
